Professional Development, Training and Supervision

Richard Elms has been providing training to professionals working with children, adolescents, adults and families since 1985. Many participants in Richard's training have commented that his relaxed and practical approach make theory and its application especially accessible.

In addition to numerous presentations at Child Protection, Family Therapy and Social Work Conferences, Richard has conducted training for a variety of organisations. These include the Australian Psychological Society (Mid North Coast Branch), Australasian College of Sexual Health Physicians, Macquarie University Psychology Department, St. John of God Hospital (Richmond), the Association of Children's Welfare Agencies, Burnside, Wayside Chapel, Department of Corrective Services, Department of Courts Administration (Probation and Parole), Department of Health, Care Force/Anglicare, Eastwood Family Therapy Centre, Department of Education, Anglican Community Services (Adelaide).
